Patente de Invenção: " ELEMENTO DE VEDAÇÃO" . Um conjunto vedante é montado sobre um eixo em relação de vedação para proporcionar uma câmara selada em um alojamento do qual se estende o eixo. O conjunto vedante inclui um corpo de vedação anular unitário afixado a um retentor anular. O corpo de vedação inclui três rebordos vedantes radiais em contato com o eixo. Um rebordo primário está adjacente à câmara selada e proporciona a vedação anti-fluido primária. Um rebordo secundário situa-se para trás do rebordo primário e mantém o rebordo primário alinhado com o eixo. Um rebordo traseiro exclui contaminantes ambientais impedindo o seu ingresso na câmara selada.
