Patente de Invenção "PROCESSO E EQUIPAMENTO TERMOSELETIVO PARA PRODUÇÃO DE MATÉRIA PRIMA SINTERIZADA E VITRIFICADA COM GRANULOMETRIA VARIÁVEL", referindo-se a um método onde o lixo municipal pode ser transformado em material utilizável na construção civil, por ser estéril, sinterizado e vitrificado com granulometria controlada, sem acarretar danos ao meio ambiente. A idéia consiste basicamente em dois fornos retorna, onde um aquece o material até 450°C separando vidros e metais e o outro aquece até 1300°C formando uma massa fundente que é vitrificada e granulada por jatos d'água dirigidos.
