Patente de Invenção "PROCESSO E APARELHO PARA SEPARAÇÃO POR CICLONE DE PETRÓLEO E ÁGUA EM UM FLUXO DE PRODUÇÃO DE UM RESERVATÓRIO DE HIDROCARBONETOS". A invenção descreve a separação de petróleo e água em um fluxo de produção de um reservatório de hidrocarbonetos, referida separação sendo efetuada pelo uso de um ciclone ou uma pluralidade de ciclones posicionados no tubo de sondagem. A água produzida reinjetada no próprio reservatório ou na zona de formação depositada acima ou abaixo do reservatório.
