Patente de Invenção de "PROCESSOS PARA TRATAMENTO DE DOENÇA CARDIOVASCULAR E SUPRESSÃO DA EXPRESSÃO VCAM-1, E COMPOSIÇÃO FARMACÊUTICA" . Ditiocarboxilatos, e especificamente, ditiocarbamatos, bloqueiam a expressão induzida da molécula de adesão de superfície de célula endotelial VCAM-1, e são portanto úteis no tratamento de doença cardiovascular, incluindo aterosclerose, restenose pós-angioplastia, doenças de artéria coronariana, e angina, bem como doenças inflamatórios não cardiovasculares que são mediadas por VCAM-1.
