Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "CONTROLE DE CARUNCHOS MARINHOS POR CLOROTALONIL" . A presente invenção refere-se ao tratamento de infestação de caruncho marinho. Foi verificado que a madeira pode ser eficazmente protegida de infestação de caruncho marinho por impregnação da madeira com uma quantidade pesticidamente eficaz de clorotalonil. Em geral, a quantidade de clorotalonil empregada está na faixa de cerca de 4,8 a cerca de 48 quilogramas por metro cúbico (0,3 a cerca de 3,0 libras por pé cúbico), embora concentrações maiores possam ser empregadas.
