A presente invenção se refere a uma composição inseticida e acaricida que compreende, como ingredientes ativos: (a) 2,2,2,3,3-tetra-metil-ciclo-propano-carboxilato de alfa-ciano-2-fenóxi-benzila e (b) (Z)-N-benzil-N[[metil-(1-metil-tio-etilideno-amino -oxicarbonil)-amino ]-tio]-beta-alaninato de etila, e um processo para controlar insetos e ácaros, pela aplicação da dita composição a sítios em que os ditos insetos e ácaros vivem.
