Abstract
Líquidos orgânicos podem ser geleificados muito eficientemente usando-se em combinação com um polímero aniônico neutralizado com amina, um aditivo reológico auxiliar. O aditivo reológico auxiliar é uma substância que aumenta a linearidade do polímero aniônico e as suas propriedades tixotrópicas. Aditivos reológicos auxiliares adequados são os óxidos anfotéricos e/ou ácidos graxos e/ou sais de ácido graxo. Os líquidos orgânicos que podem ser geleificados eficientemente são os solventes orgânicos, que incluem combustíveis, tais como, hidrocarbonetos e álcoois.
