Abstract
"FILTRO DE AR", descartável, incluindo um elemento de filtro formado de uma pluralidade de discos anulares empilhados. Os discos são formados de um material com boas características de sorção e se expandem mediante absorção de gotículas de óleo ou água. Os discos são levemente comprimidos por um defletor móvel. O defletor flutua sobre um fluxo de ar que entra no filtro e dirige o ar radialmente através do elemento de filtro. O ar flui entre e através dos discos com uma resultante baixa queda de pressão através do filtro. Quando os discos se expandem, o defletor se desloca axialmente no interior da câmara de filtro para manter a queda de pressão no elemento de filtro.
