Abstract

A invenção trata de um processo de classificar uma massa particulada de acordo com a natureza oleófila das partículas da massa. Primeiramente, as partículas (24, 26) da massa são tratadas com uma substância contendo óleo (22) de uma tal maneira que as partículas oleófilas (24) da massa são pelo menos parcialmente revestidas com a substância (22). A seguir, as partículas (24, 26) são expostas a um material dotado de propriedades específicas para que o material adira às partículas revestidas (24). Finalmente, as partículas (24, 26) podem ser classificadas de acordo com o fato delas exibirem as propriedades específicas.
