Abstract
Patente de Invenção de "PROCESSO PARA PREPARAR UM PÓ DE NITRETO METÁLICO OU CARBETO METÁLICO A PARTIR DE UM ÓXIDO METÁLICO CORRESPONDENTE", compreendendo reduzir carbotermicamente um óxido metálico a seu correspondente pó de nitreto metálico ou carbeto metálico em um reator de fluxo gravitacional vertical (11) acrescentando pelotas precursoras contendo o óxido metálico, um material ligante termicamente decomposto, e carbono ou uma fonte de carbono, diretamente à zona de reação aquecida (31) dentro do reator. As pelotas de um leito de pelotas (19). O topo do leito (18) deverá ser mantido no interior da zona de reação aquecida. O material ligante é uma mistura de amidos de trigo e de milho. O material ligante decompõe-se termicamente a um resíduo carbonáceo que funciona tanto como uma fonte adicional de carbono, quanto como um ligante para as pelotas precursoras.
