Abstract

É apresentado um processo de agitação eletromagnética de metal em fusão para fundição contínua. Os enrolamentos dos indutores são alimentados de modo a criar no metal em fusão (10) pelo menos uma zona de movimento rotativo primário (14), a qual fica fora de centro com relação ao eixo central de fundição. Por uma comutação cíclica das fases da corrente polifásica, impõe-se à referida zona de movimento rotativo primário (14) um movimento giratório secundário (18) ao redor do eixo central de fundição.
