"DISPOSITIVO DE TRAVAMENTO PARA CINTOS DE SEGURANÇA DE VEÍCULOS AUTOMOTORES", compreendendo uma base (1), cujo extremo superior conta com uma alça curva (1a) destinada a permitir que a mesma seja pendurada junto a cada um dos suportes passantes (5) do sistema de cinto de segurança convencional, sendo que a base (1) conta com projeções (1b) dotadas de orifícios (1b') destinados a reter os pinos (2a) de um elemento de travamento (2); entre as projeções (1b), a base (1) é dotada ainda de uma superfície de contato (1c) contra a qual o elemento de travamento (2) comprime a porção da faixa (3) do cinto de segurança, dita superfície de contato (1c) sendo inferior e superiormente guarnecida por projeções (1d); as projeções (1b) contam com reforços estruturais (1b'').
