Abstract
Esta invenção se refere a uma fibra compensada rígida adequada como uma substituta para as madeiras naturais atualmente usadas para a fabricação de lápis. A fibra compensada essencialmente compreende uma rede de fibras junto com uma carga de enchimento e aglutinante. Um lubrificante é adicionado para melhorar as características de apontamento da fibra compensada, e estabilidade dimensional é preservada incorporando-se um agente à prova d'água para minimizar a absorção de água pela rede de água pela rede de fibras.
