UNIDADE DE USINAGEM COM TROCADOR AUTOMÁTICO DE FERRAMENTAS", constituído por base estrutural (1) com trilhos paralelos horizontais (2), por onde o carro (3) promove movimentos de vai e vem, promovidos por moto-redutor (4) e motor elétrico (5), tendo o referido carro (3) dotado de fuso horizontal, acionado por motor elétrico (6) e moto-redutor (7), capturando ferramenta (8) presa em trocador de ferramentas (12), apoiada em cabeça (11), girando em seu eixo, apoiada em suporte estrututral (10), fixado na base (1), sendo todos os movimentos controlados por controles eletro-eletrônicos, colocados em gabinete (14), comandada através de painel de comando (15), cujo desenvolvimento visa otimizar o processo de usinagem e troca de ferramentas, de forma à tornar uma mesma máquina dotada de múltiplas funções, de forma à reduzir custos de aquisição, manutenção e operação, além de reduzir drásticamente o espaço ocupado.
