Abstract
Um processo para facilitar a remoção de radionuclídeos de material titanífero, que compreende as etapas nas quais se submete o material titanífero a um tratamento, de maneira a alterar o estado ou condição dos radionuclídeos no material, para uma lixiviação ácida subseqúente mais efetiva, e lixiviando-se depois o material titanífero com ácido, para disolver os radionuclídeos, em que as condições deste tratamento e da lixiviação são tais que titânio e ferro não são substancialmente dissolvidos do material.
