Abstract
Uma tampa é engatada com um recipiente pela formação de ondas de entrefechamento de material de tampa e de material do recipiente em torno do aro interior do recipiente. Uma cabeça de sujeição não-aquecida é usada para fixar a estrutura de tampa imediatamente adjacente a uma cabeça de selagem aquecida utilizada para formar a estrutura de onda de entrefechamento em torno do aro interior do recipiente, que previne as partes liquefeitas do recipiente ou da tampa de afluirem para ou no sentido do aro externo do recipiente.
