Abstract
Trata-se de uma embalagem para aquecimento por micro-ondas com isolamento (10) com pelo menos uma e, preferivelmente, uma multiplicidade de câmaras de isolamento potencial, latente, desinfladas (C) suscetíveis de se inflarem quando expostas à energia de micro-onda. A embalagem inclui pelo menos 2 folhas de material (22, 24) interligadas (28) em pontos ou áreas selecionadas ao longo das linhas de vedação (28a) separadas por áreas não seladas (28b), as quais definem as câmaras infláveis vazias (C) entre as linhas, áreas ou pontos. Mediante a exposição à energia do micro-onda, a embalagem com seu contéudo tornam-se aquecidos como resultado deste processo de aquecimento, as câmaras vazias também são aquecidas fazendo com que as mesmas fiquem cheias de ar de expansão quente ou vapor por umidade. Tais câmaras (C) servem como isoladores da embalagem e intensificam o aquecimento da comida (20) reduzindo o calor da embalagem.
