Abstract
Refere-se a presente invenção a uma bomba particularmente adequada para bombear sangue, cuja concepção estrutural inovadora torna mais eficiente o bombeamento realizado por rotores cônicos ou em forma de trombeta. A bomba objeto da presente invenção compreende um invólucro substancialmente cônico (2) tendo um disco de base (9), sendo provida em seu vértice uma abertura axial de entrada de fluido (3) e em sua base uma abertura tangencial de saída de fluido (4); um rotor substancialmente cônico (5) disposto coaxialmente no interior do invólucro (2) e acoplável para acionamento por um motor externo; e um eixo de sustentação (8), fixado perpendicularmente no centro do disco de base (9), em torno do qual gira o motor (5) caracterizada por ser provida uma aleta helicoidal (6) ao longo da superfície cônica externa do rotor (5).
