Abstract
Uma liga-mãe para modificar a fase eutética de ligas de alumínio-silício para fundição que consiste em 10% a 70% de estrôncio, de preferência 20% a 60% de estrôncio, 5% a 60% de magnésio, de preferência 5% a 40% de magnésio, e 5% a 60% de alumínio, de preferência 5% a 40% de alumínio. A liga pode ser usada para modificar a fase eutética de alumínio-silício de ligas, para fundição à base de alumínio-silício hipoeutéticas, eutéticas e hipereutéticas.
