Abstract
AÇO PARA FERRAMENTAS DE EXTRUSÃO. A presente invenção trata de um aço para ferramentas de extrusão com menor custo e superior resistência ao revenido que aço convencional H13, possuindo uma composição química, em porcentagem em massa, composta de: Carbono entre 0,40 e 0,60; Silício abaixo de 1,0; Fósforo abaixo de 0,030; Cromo entre 2,5 e 4,5; Molibdênio entre 0,5 e 0,7, podendo o molibdênio ser substituído por tungstênio numa relação de 2W para 1 Mo; Vanádio entre 0,10 e 1,0, Manganês menor que 1,0; o restante substancialmente de Fe e impurezas inevitáveis. Como opção para promover alta dureza após nitretação, o aço da presente invenção pode possuir teores de Alumínio de até 1,0, mas para alta tenacidade o teor de alumínio deve ser mantido abaixo de 0,10.
