Abstract
SISTEMA AMORTECEDOR PARA PROVER RESISTÃNCIA A IMPACTO EM UM CHASSI DE VEÃCULO, APARELHO AMORTECEDOR, APARELHO DE VIGA PARA SEGURANÃA MELHORADA, E, VEÃCULO. Um sistema amortecedor inclui vigas transversais estruturais primária e secundária, pelo menos uma tendo uma seção transversal em forma de S com concavidade de topo voltada para frente (ou voltada para fora). As vigas. incluem diferentes disposições de nervuras de enrijecimento emconcavidades formadas pela seção transversal em forma de S para impacto e resistência a flexão. Em uma forma, as vigas são feitas de material polimérico. As vigas podem incluir absorvedores de impacto integralmente formados para afixação ao chassi de veÃculo, ou alternativamente podem ser afixados à pontas de trilho de chassi de veÃculo por absorvedores de impacto de metal separados e suportes.
