Abstract
VACINAS, ANTÃGENOS, COMPOSIÃÃES DE PLASMODIUM E MÃTODOS. A presente invenção relaciona-se à interseção dos campos de imunologia e engenharia de proteÃna, e particularmente aos antÃgenos e vacinas úteis na prevenção de infecção por parasitas de Plasmodium. São fornecidos os antÃgenos, composições, e métodos de proteÃna recombinante para a produção de tais antÃgenos em plantas. Em algumas modalidades, os antÃgenos de Plasmodium incluem os polipeptÃdeos Pfs25, os polipeptÃdeos Pfs28, os polipeptÃdeos Pfs48/45, os polipeptÃdeos Pfs230, e/ou combinações dos mesmos.
