A presente invenção descreve um processo para a preparação de compostos que apresentam a fórmula I, em que: - R1 é um grupo metóxi ou metiltio; -R2 é um resÃduo de O-glicosilóxi. Compostos que apresentam a fórmula I são preparados por meio de reação do precursor correspondente que apresenta R2 = OH e a 1-acetil-glicose adequadamente protegida.
