A presente invenção refere-se a composições de antissapstaÃna compreendendo um composto de haloalquinila, um azol e um ácido carboxÃlico ou sulfônico insaturado. As composições da invenção são surpreendentemente eficazes na proteção de madeira e outros substratos celulósicos, em particular em fornecer atividade antissapstaÃna. A invenção também refere- se a métodos para o tratamento de madeira e outros substratos celulósicos com ditas composições.
