Para uso em bombas hidráulicas, onde um rotor exerce função de bombeamento e de trituração, triturando resíduos compostos de fibras longas que estejam presentes no fluído bombeado. Os sistemas de trituração funcionam por interação do rotor contra um anel estacionário.
