Em um segmento de teto suspenso conhecido como "nuvem", segmentos de folhas planas flexíveis formam painéis que são retidos na grade do segmento por trilhos nos painéis que se engatam a trilhos nas vigas principais da grade. As folhas flexíveis podem se curvar para se conformar com o contorno vertical do segmento à medida que os trilhos são engatados.
