LEITOR, TRANSPONDER, MÃTODO PARA UM LEITOR E MÃTODO PARA UM TRANSPONDER DE DETERMINAÃÃO DA VALIDADE DE UMA CONEXÃO, MEIO LEGÃVEL POR COMPUTADOR E ELEMENTO DE PROGRAMA.A presente invenção se refere a um leitor (420) para determinar a validade de uma conexão a um transponder (440), configurado para medir um tempo de resposta de uma transponder(440) e para autenticar o transponder (440) em duas etapas separadas. Também se refere a um transponder (440) para determinar a validade de uma conexão a um leitor (420), emque o transponder (440) é configurado para fornecer informação para medição do tempo de resposta ao dito leitor (420) e para fornecer informação para autenticação do dito leitor (420) em duas etapas separadas, em que pelo menos uma parte dos dados usados para autenticação é incluÃda em uma mensagem de comunicação transmitida entre o leitor (420) e o transponder (440) durante a medição de tempo de resposta.
