COMPOSIÇÕES ALGICIDAS DE COBRE. Esta invenção descreve novas composições algicidas para matar ou controlar o crescimento de algas e outras plantas indesejáveis em tratamentos de reservatórios de água e são caracterizadas por conter cobre na forma de quelatos ou proteinatos preparados com aminoácidos ou hidrolisados protéicos. Os quelatos ou proteinatos de cobre das novas composições são seguros e não se dissociam com subsequente formação de espécies insolúveis, se mantendo em solução mesmo sob condições rigorosas de uso.
