A presente invenção situa-se no campo das composições farmacêuticas que compreendem extrato vegetal, um agente hemostático e pelo menos um ingrediente com ação cicatrizante. Especificamente, a composição farmacêutica da presente invenção é de uso tópico e compreende extrato de Calendula officinalis, sulfato de aluminio e potássio (Alúmen), óxido de zinco em veículo farmaceuticamente aceitável. A composição farmacêutica da presente invenção se apresenta preferencialmente na forma de uma pomada que pode ser utilizada tanto em humanos como em animais tais como caninos, felinos, bovinos e/ou eqüinos.
