VEDAÇÃO INFLÁVEL DE FACE PARA UMA MÁSCARA RESPIRATÓRIA E MÉTODO DE PRODUZIR A DITA MÁSCARA. A presente invenção refere-se a uma vedação inflável de face (1'; 30') para uma máscara respiratória, a vedação inflável de face de compreendendo uma porção anular oca estanque a ar (12'; 40') em que uma seção transversal através de uma seção da porção anular oca (12; 40) compreende uma junts ligada (11; 41) que une dois flanges em sobreposição (6, 7; 35, 36). Os dois flanges são ligados juntos de modo que uma superfície que faceia para dentro (10; 39) de um primeiro flange (6; 35) dos dois flanges sobrepostos está em contato com uma superfície que faceia para fora (9; 38) de um segundo flange (7; 36) dos dois flanges sobrepostos. Dessa maneira, a ligação é forte e somente exposta a tensões de cisalhamento quanto o a porção anular oca estanque a ar é exposta a pressão aumentada
