Abstract
PROCESSO PARA CONVERSÃO DE AMIDO GRANULAR EM ETANOL. A presente invenção refere-se a um método para produção de glicose a partir de um substrato de amido granular, que compreende contatar uma pasta fluida compreendendo amido granular obtido a partir de material de planta com uma alfa-amilase, a uma temperatura abaixo da temperatura de gelatinização de amido do amido granular, para produzir oligossacarídeos e hidrolisar os oligossacarídeos para produzir uma massa compreendendo pelo menos 20% de glicose, e que compreende ainda fermentar a massa para obter etanol.
