Abstract
TRATAMENTO DE VOLUME DE TECIDO COM ENERGIA RADIANTE. A presente invenção refere-se a dispositivos e processos para utilização de radiação eletromagnética e outras formas de energia para tratar um volume de tecido a uma profundidade. Em um aspecto, um dispositivo modula o fluxo incidente na superfície do tecido para controlar e variar a profundidade no tecido sobre o qual uma dose eficaz de energia radiante é fornecida, e assim tratar um volume específico do tecido. Os processos e dispositivos descritos são empregados para executar vários tratamentos, inclu- indo tratamentos para evitar e aliviar a dor e promover a cura de tecidos.
