COMPOSIÃO DE MATERIAL ADSORVENTE, METODOS PARA PREPARAR A MESMA E SEU USO A invenção diz respeito a uma composição de material adsorvente, caracterizada pelo fato de conter enstatita junto com um segundo elemento selecionado de (a) carbono ativado e (b) pó de alumina, que pode estar sob a forma de: grãos; pelotas; esferas; cilindros sólidos; cilindros ocos do tipo tubular que podem ser muito lisos ou estriados, retos ou curvos e cortados em qualquer formato e tamanho, regular ou irregular; ou placas. A composição preferivelmente toma a forma de uma estrutura contendo canais paralelos percorrendo ao longo do comprimento do eixo longitudinal deste, os canais sendo em número entre 2 e 100 por centímetro quadrado de seção cruzada. A invenção diz respeito ainda ao uso desta composição como material adsorvente para líquidos, gases e vapores.
