O plástico filme (02) tem a funçâo de forrar a cuba da pia internamente. Sobre o orifício (03), e alinhada a ele, está fixada a esponja plástica (01) que é o componente filtrante que aumenta a superfície de filtragem com relação ao ralo da pia.
