Constituído por uma viga U em resinas termofixas reforçadas com fibras de vidro na forma de rovings de filamentos contínuos e mantas e fabricada pelo processo de pultrusão. A viga U é estruturada por nervuras também em compósitos coladas no seu interior. Os locais de apoio dos trilhos são reforçados por uma chapa de aço que também prende os elementos de fixação dos trilhos.
