Abstract

A presente invenção refere-se a composições plásticas antimicrobianas compostas de um elastômero termoplástico (TPE), particularmente poliuretanos termoplásticos, e a pelo menos um ingrediente ativo antimicrobiano do grupo dos bis(4-amino-1-piridínio)-alcanos, especificamente octinidina, à preparação dessas composições, e também ao uso dessas composições plásticas para cateteres e outros produtos da tecnologia médica.
