Abstract
COMBINAÇÃO DE POLIQUITOSAMINA E FIBRATO PARA A PREVENÇÃO E O TRATAMENTO DE HIPERLIPIDEMIA. A presente invenção refere-se a composições farmacêuticas que compreendem um fibrato (por exemplo, ciprofibrato, gemfibrozil, benzafibrato e fenofibrato) e uma poliquitosamina (por exemplo,quitosan) que têm pesos moleculares menores do que 650 KDa e graus de deacetilação de desde 70% até 100%. Também são divulgados usos das ditas composições para o tratamento de hiperlipidemia e condições associadas (por exemplo,. hiperco- leste rolem ia, arteriosclerose, cardiopatia coronariana e doença cardiovascular) ou como alimentos funcionais.
