A emulsão pode ser uma emulsão água-em-silicone e pode incluir um agente bronzeador de pele e um composto contendo silicone, compreendendo a fórmula, onde R~1~, R~2~, R~3~ são, independentemente, CH~3~, [CH~2~J~3~-[OCH~2~CH~2~]w-OH, ou [CR~2~]m-A. Também são revelados métodos de uso das emulsões em aplicações para bronzeamento da pele.
