Abstract

PROTEÇÃO DE FAIXAS DE TÁBUA DE AUTOCLAVE. Esta invenção é referente a recipientes usados em aplicações de processos químicos, tais como refinação hidro-metálica de uma combinação de metais. Mais particularmente, a invenção é referente a faixas de tábua usadas na fabricação de tais recipientes. Trata-se de um recipiente com uma pluralidade de placas banhadas a titânio soldadas umas às outras, faixas de tábua soldadas adjacentemente às placas nas suas junções, as faixas de tábua são soldadas nas placas por filetes de solda estendidos na margem dessa, e um revestimento de diáxido de titânio em pelo menos um dos filetes de solda. Preferentemente, o revestimento cobre o filete de solda e porções nas bordas da placa adjacente e faixa de tábua. As porções nas bordas da placa adjacente e da faixa de tábua cobertas pelo revestimento tem pelo menos 10mm.
