Abstract
MATERIAIS PARA FILTRAÇÃO DE ÁGUA QUE COMPREENDE UMA MISTURA DE PARTÍCULAS DE CARVÃO MICROPOROSO E MESOPOROSO E FILTROS PARA ÁGUA COM OS DITOS MATERIAIS FILTRANTES. Filtro e material filtrante para fornecer ou tratar água potável. O filtro inclui um invólucro com uma entrada e uma saída, um material filtrante disposto dentro do invólucro, o material filtrante formado ao menos em parte por uma mistura de uma pluralidade de partículas de carvão ativado mesoporoso e microporoso. De preferência, ao menos algumas das partículas filtrantes de carvão ativado mesoporoso são revestidas com um polímero catiônico, e com mais preferência, ao menos algumas das partículas são revestidas com um polímero catiônico e prata ou um material que contém prata. São fornecidos, também, kits que compreendem filtros e informações referentes à redução, extermínio ou remoção de bactérias, vírus, micróbios, além de ser fornecido também TTHM.
