Abstract
Métodos e composições de pré-tratamento de metais enxaguáveis. São descritas composições e tratamentos livres de cromatos e livres de fosfatos de metais para a aplicação de um revestimento de passivação ou por conversão para metais, mais em particular, em superfícies de aço, de aço revestido por zinco e de alumínio. Os métodos da invenção compreendem colocar em contato a superfície metálica requisitante com uma composição de tratamento compreendendo um membro ou membros compreendendo um ou mais elementos do Grupo IV B, fluoreto e um ácido fosfônico ou fosfonato. Opcionalmente, pode ser adicionado um silano como um componente do tratamento.
