PROCESSO PARA TRATAMENTO DE POLPA CELULÓSICA UTILIZANDO CARBOXIMETILCELULOSE E POLPA ASSIM OBTIDA. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo aperfeiçoado para processamento de polpa química celulósica no qual carboximetilcelulose (CMC) é adicionada durante a etapa de branqueamento da referida polpa. A adição de CMC nesta etapa do processo de branqueamento proporciona uma polpa com propriedades físicas, químicas e mecânicas melhoradas.
