Abstract

ARMAZENAMENTO CINÉTICO DE ENERGIA APLICADO A SISTEMAS METRO-FERROVIÁRIOS, conjunto de subsistemas mecânicos, elétricos e eletrônicos que permitem armazenar em dispositivos cinéticos a energia, mais conhecidos pela expressão inglesa "flywheel", a corrente elétrica proveniente da utilização dos motores de tração de equipamentos metroviários e ferroviários como sistemas de frenagem dinâmica, através da sua transformação em calor em caixas de resistores de frenagem, constituindo um sistema de regeneração de energia, podendo esta ser consumida na aceleração do veículo.
