Abstract
"DISPOSITIVO PARA PROTEGER A PONTA DA AGULHA DE UMA CÂNULA E MÉTODO PARA USAR O MESMO". Um dispositivo de segurança para proteger uma ponta de uma agulha tubular que inclui um eixo dimensionado e formado para ser recebido na passagem da agulha tubular através da primeira extremidade da passagem e que se estende a uma segunda extremidade da passagem. Um protetor associado ao eixo é construído para receber e proteger substancialmente a ponta afiada da agulha. Um prendedor é associado ao eixo. O prendedor impede a retirada do eixo da passagem da agulha quando o protetor está protegendo a ponta afiada a agulha.
