Abstract
COMPOSIÇÃO, PROCESSO PARA PREPARAR MALTITOL CRISTALINO, E, PRODUTO DE MALTITOL CRISTALINO. Um método não semeado para fabricar maltitol cristalino é descrito. O método inclui evaporar maltitol liquido em um teor de umidade de entre 4,5 porcento a cerca de 6,0 porcento para produzir uma alimentação de maltitol; resfriar referida alimentação de maltitol com água a uma temperatura de entre cerca de 10 graus a cerca de 20 graus Celsius, e extrusar referida alimentação de maltitol sem usar um bocal. O processo é realizado sem uma etapa de semeadura. Uma composição de maltitol cristalina tendo pelo menos 45 % em volume de cristais de maltitol tendo um tamanho de pelo menos 50 mícrons feita pelo método é também descrita.
