Um artigo de manufatura e um processo para preparar o artigo pela geração de revestimentos cerâmicos resistentes à corrosão, ao calor e à abrasão compreendendo dióxido de titânio e/ou de zircônio usando corrente alternada e contínua em anodos compreendendo alumínio e/ou titânio. Opcionalmente, o artigo é revestido com camadas adicionais, tal como tinta, após deposição do revestimento cerâmico.
