Abstract
Lentes de contatos híbridas e respectivos métodos de formação e de fabrico Uma lente de contato híbrida compreende uma zona central (362) que compreende um material substancialmente rígido, permeável a gás tendo um DK de pelo menos 30 (x10 ), uma zona periférica relativamente mole (364) e uma zona intermediária (366) que compreende um filme ou revestimento que é em torno da zona central e, depois, curado. O filme facilita a ligação química entre a zona central e a zona periférica e também proporciona uma barreira protetora para impedir a modificação das características físicas da zona central. O filme pode ser criado por embebimento da zona central numa solução química durante uma quantidade predeterminada de tempo. São também providos os métodos de fabrico dessa lente de contato híbrida.
