Abstract
SINTETASE DE ÁCIDO GRAXO (FAS) DE SCHIZOCHYTRIUM E PRODUTOS E MÉTODOS CORRELATOS, onde são revelados uma sintetase de ácido graxo (FAS) de Schizochytrium, fragmentos biologicamente ativos e homólogos dos mesmos, uma seqüência de ácido nucléico codificando essa FAS, fragmentos biologicamente ativos e homólogos dos mesmos, um gene codificando FAS de Schizochytrium, células hospedeiras ou organismos que expressem de forma recombinante a FAS, células hospedeiras ou organismos em que a expressão e/ou atividade da FAS endógena tenha sido atenuada e vários métodos para fazer e utilizar qualquer uma dessas proteínas, moléculas de ácida nucléico, genes, células hospedeiras ou organismos.
