A presente invenção está relacionada à utilização dos complexos de ferro e manganês como catalisadores na oxidação do cicloexano. A presente invenção também está relacionada aos catalisadores encapsulados, em especial a catalisadores encapsulados em zeólitas. Também refere-se ao processo catalítico para a transformação do cicloexano em cicloexanol e cicloexanona.
