"AMORTECEDOR DE ATRITO SÓLIDO OPERADO POR FLUIDO PRESSURIZADO". Trata-se de um equipamento que possibilitará dissipar rapidamente, através de atrito sólido, a energia elástica absorvida pelas suspensões de veículos. Uma bolsa de fluido pressurizado (6) pressionará as lonas de freio (5) das sapatas (2) contra a parede interna da camisa (1), gerando as forças de atrito sólido que dissiparão a energia elástica absorvida. A bolsa de fluido pressurizado (6) e as sapatas (2) são presas à haste (4) por meio de arrastadores (3). A bolsa de fluido pressurizado (6) é abastecida através de um tubo alimentador (16), por uma ampola pressurizada ou por um compressor.
